Instacart Records Supposedly Hacked?

For my tech and non-tech folks alike, this might be one to keep an eye on, especially if you use Instacart for your online grocery shopping/delivery.

9to5mac.com is reporting that some 280k+ records have appeared for sale on the dark web. The info for sale seems to include customer names, email addresses, the last four of credit card numbers, and even order histories.

You can read more about the info here: https://9to5mac.com/2020/07/23/instacart-customer-records

Instacart hasn’t confirmed that this is an actual breach, but as the article mentions, it appears to be legitimate. If any of you have accounts on Instacart, I would HIGHLY recommend changing any passwords associated with it, especially if you use the same password on other sites (which is considered a big no-no).
