Secure, in Style – Outfit Recap: November 28 – December 2, 2022

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s time for the weekend, which means that I’ll have a chance to recover and recuperate a bit from yesterday’s job interview.

The interview itself was okay (I was nervous, but it wasn’t horrible), but I didn’t get the position. I knew it was a long shot heading into it, but I wanted to try for it anyway. The position was for a senior role, and they were looking for someone who was able to come in and ready to go on day one. It still stings a bit, but nevertheless, I’m proud of myself for putting myself out there and giving it a shot (where’s the pat-myself-on-the-back emoji?).

You may also have noticed that things look a little different ’round these parts, and across all of my social media. Did you spot it? Yep, things have changed colors! For those who may not know, my previous blog themes (as well as my logo for this year) have been influenced by Pantone’s “color of the year” that they introduce each year.

Earlier this year, I fell IN LOVE with 2022’s color: Very Peri, and this was the first time I had changed up all of my logos and such to reflect it. I was ready to stick with the color for all of time, and make it my signature color. HOWEVER, once I saw 2023’s color, I fell in love ALL over again, and I just had to carry on my yearly tradition of revolving around the color of the year. Without further ado, let me introduce you to Pantone’s 2023 color of the year: Viva Magenta.

Okay, back to the point of this post… 😂

Here’s a look back at what I wore to work this week. I hope you enjoy them. Only one more working week left for me, and then I am off work for the holidays. Don’t worry, though. I’ll be back after the new year. Have a safe and relaxing weekend!
